Aerospace Education
Aerospace Education is a crucial part of the Civil Air Patrol mission. We accomplish the goal of teaching Aerospace Education to cadets, senior members, and members of the community in numerous ways. First, we offer aerospace education as part of our weekly meetings--ensuring that cadets and senior members are exposed to aviation and aerospace career fields and experiences. Learn more about this here: https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/programs/aerospace-education
Second, we train cadets and senior members with flying experiences. From cadet orientation flights to flight academies and training for senior members to perform aviation missions following natural and man-made disasters, the aviation and aerospace mission is very important. More information about Cadet Orientation flights is available here: https://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/programs/cadets/parents/cadet-orientation-flights
Third, we offer Aerospace Education curriculum to partners at schools throughout the United States through our STEM Kit Program. Homeschool, private-, and public school teachers can request any of twenty-plus STEM kits at no charge, for teaching aerospace education principles to their students.
