Encampment Day One: Growth Begins
South Carolina Wing’s Encampment has officially begun, marking the start of a challenging and transformative week for cadets and staff alike. From the moment they arrive, cadets begin adjusting to the encampment lifestyle—trading messy rooms for perfectly made bunks and organized lockers, and learning the importance of structure and routine.
Encampment presents one of the most demanding experiences in the Cadet Program. Over the course of the week, cadets will come to understand the value of teamwork, trust and camaraderie. As each flight grows closer, the improvement is already visible.
Though it’s only the beginning, growth is evident—both on a personal level and within each team. Parents can rest assured their cadets are learning and developing in a safe, structured environment. These young people enter encampment as followers and leave as leaders.
